Healing power:
- used as laxative,
- for cleansing the blood,
- to boost gall bladder, because of antispasmodic effects
- in case of constipation because of gall bladder trouble
How to use:
The young leaves are eaten in spring-salads. Fumaria officinale also is used dried.
Pick up the whole plant without the roots during blossom and dry it at a warm place.
Recipe for the tea: pour 1/2 litre water on 2 teaspoon herbs. Cook it and wait 10 minutes. Then pass it through a sieve. Drink 3 times a day 1 cup of tea.
Propagation:
Start seeds from March directly in rows in your garden. Sowing is very difficult because germination happens irregular. Sometimes the seeds germinate not untill the next year.
