Astragalus membranaceus
Chinese Milk Vetch is an important herb used in traditional Chinese medicine.
Healing power:

Description of the plant:
Chinese Milk Vetch can withstand frost and is perennial. It grows up to 90 cm and gets little yellow flowers. The plant needs a normal soil and a sunny location.
Chinese Milk Vetch belongs to the legume family.
Propagation:
Start seeds from March to June directly in rows in your garden.
The seeds germinate after 3 to 12 days. Plant them in a distance of ca 30 cm.
I sowed Chinese milkvetch on 21th March 2005. On 2th April 2005 it germinated.
