In homoeopathy the remedy Arctium lappa is prescribed

How to use:
Dig the root in autumn, clean it and then dry it.
Recipe for the Burdock tea:
Mix 1/4 litre water with 1 dessert spoon Burdock roots, draw it 6 hours, boil it only for a short time, then pass it through a sieve. Drink 3 cups of Burdock tea per day.
Skin diseases are treated with compresses, which are soaked with the tea.
Production of the oil:
The powdered Burdock root has to be mixed with the oil. The oil extracts the active substances out of the Burdock root.

Description of the plant:
Burdock grows biennial and reaches a height up to 1,40 m. The plant flowers violet from June to July and has got little barbs.
You find Burdock at streams and pathes.
