Description of the plant:
Zhi mu grows perennial, can withstand frost and reaches a height up to 80 cm. The plant loves a sunny to halfshady location in a normal soil.
Zhi mu grows like a tall grass and belongs to the family of the lillies.
The plant gets yellow-white or light-purple flowers, which blossoms in the evening.
Zhi mu is a herb, which is used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Propagation:
Sow the seeds from March to June indoors in flats. It is also possible to sow them directly in your garden.
Seeds which have been sown in autumn,very often germinate not untill the next spring.
I sowed Zhi mu on 9th March 2005. It germinated on 27th March 2005.
