Healing power: A tea out of ash-tree leaves works - laxative, - diuretic, - for bad working kidneys, - rheumatism, - goud, - as supplementing in blood cleansing teas. How to use: The young little leaves are picked without the middle rips and dried. Recipe for the Ash-tree leaves tea: Pour 1/4 litre water on 2 dessert spoons Ash-tree leaves, boil it only for a short time, let it draw for 4 minutes, then pass it through a sieve. Drink 3 cups of Ash-tree tea per day. For goud and rheumatism a cure treatment of 14 days is recommended. Drink 2 cups of tea per day. Description of the plant: Ash-tree is a tree, which reaches a height up to 30 m. At first in April the tree flowers. Later the leaves are coming. You find the Ash-tree all over Europe, especially at moist places like rivers and streams. Propagation: By seeds. Ingredients: Essential oil, bitter constituents, cumarins, flavonoids like quercitrin, tanning agents, gum, resin, rutin. |
